The role of the paediatric first aider
How to assess a situation and perform a primary survey
CPR and safe use of an AED for infants and children
Managing choking, seizures, wounds, bleeding, and shock
Treating minor injuries and placing a child in the recovery position
Course Details
Duration: 1 day (7 hours total, including pre-course study)
Certification: Level 3 RQF / Level 6 SCQF (valid for 3 years)
Assessment: Practical demonstration and oral questioning
Group Size: Up to 12 learners
